COMPANY PROFILE 

WHO IS WEST MEDIA? 

West Media Limited is a company based in Western Kenya. It is a company with business interests in Media and ICT, in Western Kenya, North Rift Kenya and Eastern Uganda. West Media Limited has two major subsidiaries. These are: West Fm (Radio Station) and WestCom Limited. 

WEST FM 94.9 AND 104.1 

West Fm is an independent commercial radio station that is fast growing and a favorite to the population of Western Kenya, North Rift and Eastern Uganda. The station started broadcasting in July 2006. Rating reports from Steadman justify that, the station has rapidly captured the imagination of the people within the region and stands in a league of its own. 

West Fm offers comprehensive programs. We focus on issues that affect the region thus; we speak to the community directly as well as giving them a platform to tackle issues affecting their daily lives on radio. As the Region’s fast growing and favorite radio station, West Fm 94.9 & 104.1 will give your products a significant exposure during prime listening times on an exclusive basis. 

WESTCOM LIMITED 

WestCom is a rapidly growing ICT solutions company that focuses on increasing efficiency, lowering costs and simplifying administration for its customers. These enable its customers to concentrate on their core business in the knowledge that their information systems are being well managed. 

WestCom started offering ICT services to the public in September 2008. We rolled out by opening information centers in Western Kenya called West Fm ICT Centers. The first centre opened its doors in Kakamega in 2007. The success of this ICT centre led to the opening of two more centre in Bungoma (2008) and in Kitale (2009). West Media plans to open more branches in the rest of Western Kenya and North Rift to offer ICT services.

West Media seeks to be an ICT service provider for socio-economic enrichment of our society in Western, North Rift and North Nyanza regions. We strive to exceed the expectations of our clients with friendly service, fast and effective ICT solutions.
