West Media Limited, through its ICT Company WestCom, offers the following ICT services to clients:
- Internet services (cyber services, video conferencing)
- West Media offers traditional internet services such as cyber services to clients who want to communicate with others online.
- Hardware and software services (installation, customization and maintenance)
- West Media offers maintenance agreements with our clients tailored to suit clients’ needs. Our maintenance covers computers, networks (servers and network cabling). Our staff are available and offer flexible service hours and support. This can be either onsite or remote support
- Network services(consultancy, installation, maintenance
- West Media realizes the need for corporate, middle-sized companies, institutions and individuals to have access to information that can help them build their businesses. For this reason, we are outsourced to provide clients
- Data services (data entry, data analysis, data conversion and data mining) - West Media offers the above services to clients. We use different software for data capture data, processing, extraction and data manipulation to give you information that gives you a competitive advantage over competitors.
- Business Continuity Solutions such as off-site data backup, data recovery services
- Software development (websites) - West Media understand the importance of online presence for corporate. We use different web technologies to create websites for our clients.
- Business Process Outsourcing in the areas of academic research, proposal writing
- ICT training and consultancy - West Media offers expertise in different fields of ICT. We help our clients implement ICT technologies and software applications such as networks. We offer customized ICT training to individuals and corporate organizations.

- Staff currently pursuing Certified Cisco Networking Associate (CCNA) certification
- Highly skilled IT Personnel - West Media Limited has a fully fledged IT Department that has experienced Personnel:
- IT and Technical Manager: Job Situma-Diploma Information Technology(KCCT), Diploma in Information Systems (IMIS), Training in Radio Broadcast Solutions from Broadcast Systems International (BSI).
Information Systems Administrator/Network Administrator: Conrad Kuchio- Diploma in Information Technology(JKUAT).
- Mobility:
West Media Limited has two vehicles on the ground, which are normally used to access its different sites and clients (An Isuzu Dmax double cabin pickup and a Toyota Succeed Saloon car). These vehicles will always be available to serve its client’s needs also. West Media also gas at its disposal a motor bike (Yamaha) to access clients who are near.
For this reason, West Media Limited is able to offer quick and timely customer service, if there is need to be on-site.
- IT Infrastructure:
West Media Limited has owns the following IT infrastructure that can be used to ensure efficient services to its clients.
- Three radio towers strategically placed in Bungoma, Kapenguria and Webuye. These towers can be used to mount WiMAX systems for clients, for both direct and indirect transmission part systems, for wireless metropolitan area networks.
- Dedicated leased line for high internet speed access- these ensures that our clients can access us online to give their grievances. More than 100 computers and high speed internet connections in its ICT Centres.
- Dedicated telephone lines and a fax at each site: These ensure that our clients contact us easily.
- Marketing Plan
West Media Limited has a strong marketing department that has come up with a marketing plan. The marketing team is made of dedicated team players who understand the special needs of IT marketing and clients in this region.
Part of the marketing strategy will include the following:
- Advertising via Radio( West Fm) the installation service offered by West Media
- Conducting of face- to face meetings with potential clients

Our Target group is of over 100,000 clients in Western, Nyanza, the North Rift and Eastern Uganda.
The target market is rural Western Kenya, specifically:- Business entrepreneurs including cyber café operators, supermarkets, shop owner; Small Micro Enterprises including SACCOs, Co-operatives, Youth and Women Groups; Learning Institutions; Government Institutions; Health institutions; Hotel industry; NGOs and Churches; SOHOs( Small Offices Home Offices); Companies, and individuals
