 Some Saboti Constituency Development Fund –CDF officials are likely to be charged in court Thursday over the alleged acquiring of public property amounting to Sh 700,000.
According to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Ignatius Katasi Maina, Charles Maina Wafula, Thaddeus Wekesa Makokha and Isaac Masengeli are to be arraigned in the anticorruption courts in Kitaleto face corruption charges.
It is alleged that on diverse dates between 24, April, 2007 and 30th April 2007 in Kìtale within Kìtale Township of the Rift Valley Province, jointly acquired public property, to wit, public funds from the Saboti CDF meant for the construction of a Borehole at Nabunga Secondary School.
They will also face other charges for fraudulently uttering a document namely Minutes of Nabunga borehole Project Committee Meeting purporting it to be the minutes of a meeting of the Project Management Committee of Nabunga Borehole Project. Switch to Our Mobile Site |
