Issak Simiyu, 26, a resident of Makhonge village in Chwele seeks for KSh. 200,000 to cater for the amputation of his leg which is rotting after being involved in a road accident a year ago.
The accident which involved a Petrol tanker and a motor cycle he was riding along the Kanduyi – Bungoma March 2011, left him with broken limps and head injuries.
Speaking to West Fm, he said he was admitted at the Bungoma District Hospital for one month before being referred to the Kakamega General Hospital for further treatment.
However, despite the treatment he received, he has not recovered rather his leg is rotting.
He confessed that because of poverty, he is unable to cater for his treatment adding that being the first born of a family of eight with elderly unemployed parents, it has posed a need for well wishers to come in and help pay for his treatment.
“I request for well wishers to come and help me out of this nightmare. I trust they can help me out of this situation of my leg rotting while I am still alive,” Simiyu said.
