Despite of the heavy rains experienced being in Mt.Elgon more than 500 recruits braved the weather Wednesday morning to participate in the Kenya Defence Force recruitment exercise at Kapsokwony primary Scholl grounds.
The officer in-charge Colonel Lema Munai said that the participants behaved well in spite of the few of them who tried to ploy them by boarding a motorbike during the running test.
“My officers saw them and they were disqualified immediately because we don’t condone cheating here,” Munai said
Out of the number that turned up for the exercise, only ten were recruited nine male and only one female. Three of them will join the air force, two Navy and the remaining the Kenya Army.
The participants and the community at large expressed their satisfaction on the way the exercise was conducted and hoped that next time they take more girls. Switch to Our Mobile Site |
