Mt. Elgon- Bungoma County: One family in Kipyieto sub location, Nomorio location in Mt.Egon District are in deep sorrow after four people from the same family were found killed Thursday morning by unknown people.

The Mt. Elgon Deputy OCPD Ezekiel Kiche said the motive of the assailants has not been established but they launched investigations into the incident and urged the residents who have any information concerning the incident to report to the police.

Last week another incident was reported from the same village where a middle aged man was attacked at his home by unknown people armed with guns but narrowly escaped with a gun shot at his leg.

The OCPD reiterated that there are some men who still poses illegal firearms in the area and urged those people to surrender them to the police or else whoever will be found will be arrested.

Speaking at the scene, Mt.Elgon Knut Secretary Stephen Chemonges condemned the incident saying that it was very inhuman especially for the young innocent boy.
