Marakwet East legislator Chebii Kilimo under fire for misappropriation of CDF

Mr. Wilfred Belion a business man from Marakwet East who led other residents in the area demanding for the resgnation of the area mp and CDF committee for the misuse of the funds according to the National Tax Payers' Association Report.

Marakwet East Constituents are calling for the immediate resignation of their Member of Parliament Linah Jebii for being a disgrace to her people; this is after the revelations by the National Taxpayers Association that out of Sh 31million of their CDF kitty has been misappropriated.

Led by Mr. Wilfred Belion a business man from Marakwet East, they are demanding immediate freezing of all Marakwet East CDF accounts, immediate disbandment of current CDF committee which is incompetent, on skilled, political cronies and sycophants of the area member of parliament, Investigation by the police into the matter and prosecution of the culprits.

The constituents who held a press conference in Eldoret town also demanded the intervention by the auditor general and other relevant authorities on the issue and the investigation into awarding of CDF tenders in Marakwet East.

They are calling upon the Marakwet East constituents and the entire Marakwets and  any other Kenyan including those in Diaspora to join hands and collect over 4000 signatures petitioning the Anti Corruption and Electoral Body to bar Hon Kilimo and any other Mp found misappropriating public funds from holding or vying for any public seat especially in the coming elections.

Hon Kilimo political carrier begun in 2002 after the NARC wave, her winning surprised many since before she was elected to office she was running a salon in Eldoret town.
