Kenyan national team Harambee Stars improved in its international improved according to the latest FIFA Coca Cola World rankings.

The national team moved six steps up to 111 from position 117 in the ranking released early this week.

This is after a barren draw in 2014 World Cup qualifying against Malawi, which was better placed than the Stars in the last ranking. 

After playing with Namibia, Harambee Stars will proceed to play Togo in the 2013 World Cup qualifying a week later. Already, the Stars carry a 2-1 lead into the Togolese clash. 

Malawi are placed number 107, with Uganda leading in the region, at position 94. Tanzania is ranked at position 139.

Currently, the national soccer team on Monday reported to camp in their next match in Windhoek this Saturday in their second Group F qualifier match.

The team camps at their Kenya School of Monetary Studies base for four days before leaving the country on Thursday evening.

Harambee Stars need to win against the Namibia to ensure that they keep their Brazil 2014 dreams alive especially after Nigeria beat Namibia one goal to Nil on Sunday.

It will be a busy month of June for the national team who will still have to play Togo in the return match of the 2013 African Cup of Nations Qualifier in Lome after finishing the assignment with Namibia

Francis Kimanzi already has lots of work to work on and with a lots of injuries fueling his camp, the tactician needs to work round the clock to ensure that he restore the confidence the Kenyan fans have had in him.

Even though national team Captain Dennis Oliech says that hopes are still there and promised a turn of events when they play Namibia.
