Jamii Bora Bank picks Nairobi Advocate Cyprian Wekesa to be part of its Board of directors

One of the 43 commercial banks licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya has elected Nairobi advocate Mr. Cyprian Wekesa to be part of the bank’s Board of directors.

The new Board which was elected at the bank’s annual general meeting held on 13/06/2012 at the Serena hotel in Nairobi comprises of James Mwangi Gacheru as Chairman, Mr. Cyprian Wekesa, Ingrid Sofia Munro, Stefan Kaiser, Lars-Olof Hellgren, Dr. Betty Gikonyo, Pamella Oburu Ager, Richard Kiplagat, Alban Mwendar, the Chief Executive Officer Samuel Kimani and Chief Operations Officer Timothy Kabiru.

The new board is mandated to spearhead the growth of Jamii Bora Bank Ltd going forward to ensure the Bank has footprints in all the 47 Counties of Kenya.
