Kolanya placed in tough pool ahead of the provincial ball games to be held in Kakamega

Teso District Secondary School Soccer giants Kolanya Boys High School have been handed a very tough Pool for the Provincial Secondary School Games finals to be held on 19-22 July, at Kakamega High School Grounds.

Kolanya are to meet giants in the Provincial Ball Games after recording the biggest victory during the District Secondary School Ball Games.

The team which defeated Amukura 2-1 in the finals during the District Secondary Schools ball games will play the ten-time National Champions Kakamega High School.

Defending champions Mumias Muslim Boys and Chavakali Boys in Pool A tagged as a group of death and will play its first match on Thursday 19th July.

Pool B has Bujumba Boys from Busia, Bungoma’s Misikhu Friends School, Mautuma High school from Lugari and Chebukube Boys from Mt. Elgon.

In the girls' category, national defending champions Bishop Njenga will battle it out against their arch rivals Butere Girls.

Lugulu Girls and Kibuk Girls in a tough Pool A while Moi Girls Vokoli, Ibinzo Girls, Kingandole Girls and Bishop Sulumeti Girls face the game in Pool B.

In Rift Valley, St.Anthony have been placed in Pool A alongside Enoosoen  from Narok County, Umoja from Uasin Gishu and Nowoitorong from Turkana during the Rift Valley Provincial ball games that will be held at Chewoyet secondary school.

St. Anthony from Trans Nzoia West sailed through to the provincial games unbeaten in all games from zonal competition which commenced in May.

Kajiados Laiser Hills will battle it out with Baringo's Kabarnet  before playing Kapcherop from Elgeyo Marakwet in pool B at Nasoko primary school ground as Kericho's kipchimchim faces Kamungei from Bomet, Kapenguria from Pokot and Kirisia from samburu in pool C at Kapenguria boys grounds.

Laikipia high have been pooled together with Nakuru's Rohi and samoei from Nandi in pool D the games that will B played at Murkwijit primary school.
