Hassan Abdalla (left), a middle aged man, was arraigned in Hamisi Law Courts Friday morning over allegations of sodomizing a standard 6 pupil of Lusengeli Primary School aged 14, Thursday evening in a bar at Cheptulu Market.

According to the victim, he was going to school when he met Abdalla who told him he is a preacher and prays to people and they get saved.

“I was going to school when I met this man and he told me he is a pastor and prays to people and they get saved,” said the pupil.

Abdalla convinced him and they went together up to the boy’s home and there was nobody in the homestead and that’s when Abdalla, the accused asked him to go through a window and unbolt the kitchen’s door which was locked from inside.

“We went together up to our home, upon reaching there he asked me to jump through the window and unbolt the kitchen door,” he said.

The student told West FM that upon entering the kitchen Abdalla started smearing oil on his entire body and asked him to remove so that he can also to smear on his behinds before sodomizing him.

“When we entered the kitchen he started smearing oil on my head, arms and then asked me to remove my clothes so that he can also smear the oil on my buttocks and that’s when he removed his clothes asked me to turn around and then sodomized me,” he said.

After the incident, Abdalla asked him to escort him to a bus station at Mago Market but upon reaching at the market they both entered in a food kiosk and they ‘ate well’ before boarding a vehicle to Cheptulu where he reserved a room in a bar within the market.

In the lodging he told me if asked by anyone if they were related he should respond that Abdalla is his father. He then started caressing on his chest and asked him to undress and when was just about to take me to bed they had a knock on the door on opening they found the bar attendants who confronted them and alerted the police.

They boy was rushed to Kaimosi Mission Hospital for a medical examination and according to the report the boy had a tear on the anus and some fluid discharge. The report also read that boy was in pain.

However, a close source to West Fm disclosed that the said suspect is working with others whom we are yet to establish to propagate the vice in the locality.

The suspect is being remanded at Kodiaga Prisons as investigations in to the matter are conducted.
