An explosive scare allegedly from an unknown source disrupted business within Bungoma Town on Wednesday evening on what would have been a normal day at a barber’s shop while a customer was being shaved.

According to the barber Mr. Protus kisaka, the customer, was slightly burnt on his right cheek as the device was not big and the explosion not as huge as well.

According to him, the device, small in size, flew through the window due to pressure but did not cause any harm or injuries.

Nobody was injured.

Bungoma police arrived at the scene immediately the incident was reported.

The device was later taken to the Bungoma police station for tests.
